A wonderful novel, if a little self pitiful and depressing. I found the prose a little repetitive at atimes. Nevertheless this has inspired me to read the rest of Graham Greene. I know he was capable of fine and even funny writing, so they might not all be gloomfests. Will be releasing this into the wild at a cafe in Finsbury Park, north London, today.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I left this book in the Cafe at Finsbury Park. Hope someone takes it and isn't too depressed. It'as an awful tale of politics, passion, principle, religious conviction and death - the Whisky Priest. A gripping read.
