Quite a good thriller along similar lines to early Dean Koontz, Doctors playing God and messing with DNA and chromosomal engineering. Dr Brandt spends the whole time trying to find a way to stop the babies from dying, but the last page makes you wonder if he shouldn't have just left it alone.
This had an interesting premise unfortunately the writing was such that I lost the will to live half way through. It may catch someone's fancy though
