I do not know how you knew that I am a student of the US Civil War but thank you fofr sending me an audio book of one of my favorite authors.

Journal Entry 5 by NMReader at Herndon, Virginia USA on Tuesday, May 17, 2011
I started this audiobook this morning. I have listened or read Killer Angels and Gods and Generals. It will be nice to complete the trilogy.

May 31: Considering I can only listen to this while in my living room, I am making good progress. I hope to complete it this week and add to the stack of books on tapes to be put into a bookbox or taken to the library.

Jeff Shaara does a masterful job of bringing the people and places fo the Civil War to life.

I enjoyed this audio book very much. It has inspired me to check out The Day Lincoln Was Shot

Still haven't read The Killer Angels, but I keep intending to. Since this sequel turned up in my audio bookbox, I'll hang on to it for a while and see if I find a round tuit.

Abridgment approved by the author. 4 cassettes; read by Stephen Lang.

Received today.
According to Goodreads this is part 3 of "The Civil War Trilogy",
since I don't have 1 or 2 I will ask a friend (who is a Civil War Junkie) if he wants it.
