This memoir tells us of the experiences of a group of women living in Iran through the Revolution and Islamic Republic taht followed, during the 1970s - 1990s. Their stories are told through the books that they read at their secret literature group. It is a moving and powerful account of the hardships and frustrations that they experience.

I am going to reserve this for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Book Release Challenge in October.
