In 1995, the Japanese city of Kobe suffered a massive earthquake. Nearly 6,000 people died. "after the quake" was the imaginative response from Japan's leading novelist, Haruki Murakami: six stroeies, each dealing not directly with the catastrophe but wider seismic effect it had on the emotional lives of people mayn miles away.

Superfrog Saves Tokyo:
A Superfrog, over 6 feet tall, visits an ordinary Japanes man and asks for his help to avoid an earthquake in Tokyo.
Honey Pie1&2:
A story about three - two men, one woman - who love in turn and also simultaneously the one women in this threesome plot. After divorcing the one, the other one finally can win.
