This book always makes me wonder about the person who bought it originally; you see, I got it in a charity shop, and didn't notice the inscription inside the cover until I got home. It reads;
"Peter,
Happy Valentine's day. These poems say what I want to but find too hard.
Love Nicky 14/02/2001."
Nine years on, I wonder if Nicky and Peter are still together, or what made Peter give the book away to Charity?
Anyway, if you need a bit of inspiration for when you buy the misses her annual box of "Ferrero Rocher" chocolates from the nearest all-night garage on the 13th February at 11pm, you can't go wrong with this. ;-)
