Bought this book from a Used Book Store in Ljubljana, Slovenia in May 2010.

Written from the perspective of 4 daughters and their mother living in a mission in the Congo. The author conveys the tragic outcomes and ongoing struggles the people in the Congo must endure due to colonisation, independence and capitalism.
