Found at the base of my favourite Hepworth statue, read on the train to London and after. I found the writing of these stories to be dour, sometimes bitter and full of a dark humour which kept me reading and gave a brilliant picture of the cruelty and difficulties of rural life in Ontario.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left on a table in Bury Place by the British Museum. As you can see, this book is on a journey. When you have finished with it, would you please journal it and send it on its way?

Unearthed, read, loved, released.

I found this book in the London Review of Books cake shop. It was a treat to find a ragged, orphan of a book lying beside those pristine copies of new books. I've read many Alice Munroe stories and any book of hers is irresistible to me, especially a wild one. I enjoyed reading it and have passed it on. It is now on it's way to Scotland.
