This has to be a truley amazing story of hardship and unbelievable cruelty not only by a government but by her own family.
It is amazing how though everything life threw at her Anhua managed to not lose faith in what was important to her.

What a fantastic book. It's amazing how anybody could have lived through such hardship and still be able to write with such clarity. A very emotional read. I am posting this to my friend Liz in London. I'm sure she will get as much out of this book as I did.
