Three Ibsen plays. In addition to A Doll's House there is an earlier play, The League of Youth and a later play, The Lady From the Sea. All three explore the relationship between man and wife. I am not sure that Ibsen moved much in his view, although the denouement of each play is quite different. I did find it interesting that Ibsen was forced to change the ending of A Doll's House before it could be performed in Germany.
