I bought this book some years ago on my holidays in Ireland and read it there. I think it was quite funny and entertaining. A short light read perfect for summer....

This book seemed very interesting, I was bound to buy it sooner or later, so many thanks blacksheeps to sending it to me. It is nice and light, but I am afraid i did not like Clara much, and in this type of book one has to either identify with the main character or like her ( this type of book nearly always has a female main character) despite being so different. And in the end I just could not care too much, nor understand whatever where the problems with Clara. And all that neuroticism about her weight and she never seems to consider eating less or giving up snacks now and then, urgh!

Again many thanks, blacksheeps99, it really was the type of reading for this very hot summer days. Right now, not totally sure what to do with this book, I would like to pass it to another Bcer or maybe release it. If anybody is interested in it, please let me know!

A light and funny read, but to me the ending seemed quite unrealistic. Anyway, I liked it and I liked the fact that Clara stayed the way she is.

I enjoyed this one, but Clara's mom made me VERY mad...it kind of distracted my reading of this one...I plan to send this one out to another reader of CL...we'll see who is interested next...
