A delightful story.....I've read quite a few of Kinsella's books, but this is by far my favorite. Characters you become quite fond of, moments you'd love to see for real (I'd love to see this made into a movie). An over the top ending, but even that seems ok. Really just a darling book. I loved it.
From the end flap: Lara Lington has always had an overactive imagination, but suddenly that imagination seems to be in overdrive. When the spirit of Lara's great-aunt Sadie-a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fahion, love, and the right way to dance-mysteriously appears, she has one last request:Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie's possession more than 75 years, and Sadie cannot rest without it. Lara on the other hand has a number of ongoing distractions. Her best friend and business partner has run off, her start up company is floundering, and she's just been dumped by the "perfect" man. Sadie however could care less.........
I loved this book........and oh what I wouldn't give to see Sadie's necklace and her flapper clothes.

I had decided to keep this book in PC (hardcover edition). Except, for Christmas I've been given the trade PB of it, so I'm highjacking my own number and using it to release the paperback to Pretty Poodle for her train station OBCZ. That box is going to be out of here Saturday. I had hoped to have it to her last week, but I didn't make it.

Prettypoodle here:
I decided to read this book before releasing it to the OBCZ> I was surprised at how much i enjoyed it. i mean I like the author alot, but ghost stories do nothing at all for me. This one was light enough and fun enough to keep me interested!
Thanks for sending this to the OBCZ!
