I loved this book. I thought the Time Travellers Wife was a very clever book (and an appallingly bad movie) but this new book by Audrey Niffenegger swept me away. It is rare that I will stay up in the night reading a book, but this one did it for me. It is terribly disturbing in parts but the central characters were so rich to me that I felt completely drawn in. It doesn't get a ten because I don't know if the ghost character is not a bit laboured at times yet, at the end, perhaps that style is a technique to allow her to make the story come full circle. Highly recommended and no doubt this one will remain on bookgroup lists for healthy debate for years to come.
