Being immortal isn't all it's cracked up to be. Mildly amusing. A good idea that seemed to lose a bit in the writing. Aphrodite's phone sex was amusing, but Aphrodite & Apollo having sex was a bit gross. What about poor Kate? Cut down in her prime, poor thing.

It's interesting to receive this book. I bought a copy of this several years back, as the story does sound interesting. An adult version of Percy Jackson, I guess. However, I ended up using it for the BookCrossing Monopoly game, releasing it in a museum next to a statue of Zeus and Leda. I didn't get to read the book first, but the themed release for museum is just too much fun and I can't think of a better alternative for the release.
Therefore, it's a pleasant surprise to receive this book, giving me a second chance to read it. Thank you so much!!

I thought the beginning was kind of silly - really dislike Apollo's character - and almost put the book down, but the story does get better, when Apollo is out of the picture and Artemis takes over. Quite funny and enjoyable overall, down to the epilogue.
