CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy!
Thanks and happy reading!

not released. it's still here

The story starts in Spring 1947, when 17yo Simon is on Mom Nora's spirited horse. The horse tripped and Simon died on impact...and his death fractured his family. Mom Nora was sedated and eventually hospitalized for "hysteria" as was typical in those years if you weren't the docile wife that was expected. Neal, the husband, can't stand the farm, so he moves to Chicago with the daughter Clea. But Nora refuses to see her family's farm, is backed by her mother & horse wrangler Ozzie, who has loved Nora since she was a teen, comes back to the farm to help her rebuild.
