Charity shop buy to possibly read

The characters and Le village come to life as does the taste and smell of this part of France
Each chapter builds on the previous until the reader is so familiar with the place and people.
It captivated me, I even took it to read at the hairdresser.
Meeting Midlifecrisis tomorrow and will see if she wants it

Hi Bridget - sorry I have taken to long to journal receipt of this book. It certainly sounds a goody and I have added it to Mr TBR. In fact I have cheated on my "stock rotation" system or I would never get round to reading it, and have sneaked it in somewhere in the middle of the pile! I will be sure and let you know what I think of it. Keep well. Sally
