This is the most wonderful, true story about the most misunderstood animal on the face of this earth... bats. Any creature that will eat 3,000 to 7,000 insects per night, including mosquitoes, is a good neighbor. After you read this book you will want your own bat house to encourage these furry friends to live in your yard.

For the love of Sunshine, and many thanks to the author, Amanda Lollar. If you ever get down south, make sure you visit Amanda and her furry friends at Bat World in Mineral Springs, Texas. Or visit Bat World in cyberspace at http://www.batworld.org.

I'm starting this wonderful little book off on its journey around the world by giving it to my Mom, who is visiting me here in Salt Lake City, Utah. She will take it back to Connecticut with her, where she plans to share it with her book club and friends on the East Coast. Bon Voyage, Sunshine!

This wonderful informational book is being passed on to my grandson (age 9), then to some friends who are interested in bats. It will finally be released to the wild after those people finish.

It is a MUST for nature lovers!
