Gratefully received from a fellow Freecycler.
A horror story which tells the story of an undercover man who seems to be jinxed - whenever he was involved, jobs went wrong. In order to beat this curse he must solve the secret of his own strange life.

Detective Kelso seems to bring bad luck with him wherever he goes. After the last incident his boss is keen to ship him out somewhere he can't do any harm.He goes to a seemingly sleepy small coastal village that seems to have had a few drugs problems recently. As he's digging around the American airbase sends in one of their own people Ellie a smart investigations officer from customs and excise. Soon they start to stumble upon things that some people don't want them too.
There is an undercurrent of darkness to this book. Something not really fully explained. Some mysteries from Kelso's childhood. I think it really works well.
