The Eyre Affair

This was a FUN read. Took me about 2 months to finish it (not a page turner) but still worth checking out. Written in the same style as the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, I found my self chuckling -har di har har- atleast once every page. Planned as a future release.

Received from Dozoisfiction. Thanks! I'm looking forward to reading it.
This is promised to midwestgal when I'm done.

I was occasionally annoyed by overly cutesy wordplay, and some derivative plot and character elements, but overall, the book was enjoyable and pretty well written. Some interesting ideas, and just good fun. And if you've read Jane Eyre (especially if you've read Jane Eyre more than once, as I have), there are a few really great moments.
Thanks again, DozoisFiction!
