I watched the Rebus series on tv but hadn't read any of the books until I saw this one, the last in the series. It was very good indeed and satisfying as a conclusion. I wondered how it would read after seeing the actor portraying Rebus, but they had been careful in their adaptation so the characters came across just as I had seen them.
