RABCK from hostile17; Very humorous - I could almost hear Hugh Grant's voice throughout in the role of Will, the inept womanizer, who despite himself gets caught up making friends with women who have children. Marcus, one of the preteen boys, decides to latch on to him and not give up, with hilarious results. Tagged and off to Egypt next.

I have never seen the film About A boy so i had no idea what it was about but i have loved all previous Nick Hornby books i have read and this one is no exception. Nick really knows how to bring his characters to life. Will was so awkward in himself and that came across well, i can understand why they chose Hugh Grant to play that part. I liked Fiona, she was very understated. Markus i found so funny in his way of thinking. Great book.

I am reserving this book for a bookray to start in a few weeks time.
