I don't know why the cover blurb compares the book to Jurassic Park, because it is nothing like that at all (except that a T.Rex plays a big part in the story).
I quite enjoyed the book, but not as much as I like the books written by Douglas Preston together with Lincoln Child. Maybe it was the notable absence of Special Agent PEndergast in the story that made it less fascinating for me. It is an enjoyable mix of thriller with scientific facts and conjecture, but I can't say it quite blew me away.
