I really enjoyed this book by Nancy Pickard. This is the story of a small town in Kansas, that is famous for it's legendary "Virgin of Small Plains".

Abby Reynolds, her best friend Rex Shellenberger and her former high school boyfriend uncover the secret behind the unsolved mystery of the "Virgin" and the long term consequences of this mystery on each family in the town. The suspense of the mystery, the mythical legend of the "healing" virgin's grave and great characterizations kept the pages turning for me! It even includes a surprise twist at the end! I would recommend this book to any mystery fan!
