2 journalers for this copy...
Purchased from my local Salvos store as I have seen this mentioned on BC many times.
I really enjoyed this modern day interpretation of the Austen novels. A book group is formed and each host in turn chooses their favourite novel for group discussion at the monthly gatherings. Aa the participants are women who love Jane Austen and there is an additional man who is only known by the invitee, and he knows little about Jane Austen. Interesting discussions ensue, as well as solving all the problems of their relationships, friendships and marriages. An easy book to read, not too much detail on the novels, but enough to inspire me to read a couple more.
Anything that inspires people to read more Austen is all right by me, Megan!
Acquired this at meetup for a friend to take with her on her travels overseas... Fly free little book and we'll hopefully hear from you again!
