Telling Christina Goodbye

"Telling Christina Goodbye" is one of your typical teen novels. It is narrated in third person, with four characters: Trisha, Christina, Cody (Trisha's boyfriend), and Tucker (Christina's overbearing boyfriend). A tragic car accident occurs, leaving Christina dead, Trisha injured, and Cody in a coma. Tucker, the driver, is left suspiciously unaffected. The novel addresses accepting death for teenagers.
This is an easy read with simple dialogue. I liked how it discussed a really emotionally heavy topic for teenagers. The plotline was typical; I wished the characters were more dynamic.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I had first read this book in middle school and considered it a pretty good book. I wanted to pass it on to someone in the same age group, so I left it at Beaumont Middle School's library. I hope it falls into a middle schooler's hands, someone who will bring awareness to Bookcrossing.
