A Year in the Merde

I liked this book. At first, I thought this was a travel memoir, and then couldn't figure out why the narrator was calling himself Paul West. I finally figure out it was fiction, written like a travel memoir. But I wonder if part of it was autobiographical???
The narrator reminded me a lot of my manager, who is British. I felt like he was telling me the story.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This was not released at the Air Force Base Museum.
It was released at the library at Wright Pat AFB, but I was having trouble making release notes and had to make do with this release spot in the computer system.
I left the book in the library in the rack with the free magazines. My son, who is currently stationed at Lackland AFB, was home for Christmas and went to WPAFB to take a placement test -- which he passed with flying colors! :)
Hope someone finds and enjoys this book.
