I read this book ages ago and remember enjoying it. I am taking it off my PC shelves to find a new home. I will slip it into the Everyone's A Prizewinner bookbox. Happy Reading.

This was an incredible read. Each woman portrayed took time, in her own way, to become part of the haphazard and broken family that made up Brewster Place. Somehow, they all managed to retain dignity and dreams, even when confronted by despair and rage. The pace of the stories worked well, introducing a new era into the timeline, yet subtly illustrating circumstances never changed.
