Received in today as a Secret Santa gift. :) Thanks again hyphe8!
This book was really quite interesting. It didn't have much of a plot to it - it was just the every-day scenes that play out in an Afghan family. I did like it though because it really was an 'insider' view into Afghan culture and I thought that aspect of it was really interesting. I also liked how the author didn't focus on just one person in the family. Each member was given a chapter or two, so it was cool to hear the story from different perspectives.
Put in the mail today. It's on its way to DoraChrys. Enjoy!
It arrived today!!!
Thanks amcamp1644!
It's nice to read a book that has travelled more than myself!
I think I will like it!
