It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

Quick read, isn't deep or thought provoking but kept me interested enough to finish it. Although catagorized as Horror, it's also very much a romance which isn't normally my cup of tea. Romance lovers (ha ha) will probably really enjoy this read.

Oh YAY! This arrived just in time for me to read it (again) before the movie comes out later this week!

I've read the entire Twilight series, and LOVED them all. Slipknot is correct, these books are totally not "horror". They are more about first love, forbidden love, and the relationships between some interesting characters. True, there's a bit of fantasy thrown in there ... after all, we are talking about vampires and werewolves here ... but the author does it in such a way that it just seems normal - almost explainable - that these creatures walk among us in everyday life.

Anyhow, after I re-read this, I'm going to send it out to a few of my friends who have yet to experience the Twilight phenomenon. I've already gotten a couple people hooked on the series, and there's always room for more :)

Thanks again to Slipknot for the trade! You should be receiving Neverwhere any day now :)

Ok, this book was even better the 2nd time around ... and I just saw the movie, which was a pretty good adaptation of the book. Yay!

I'm going to loan this to my sister, Moody-Blue, in an attempt to get her addicted as well ...

More chick-flickyness than action, but still a really good book.

For the first half of the book, I was thinking it was good... but I wasn't enamored. Obviously written for teens, the language and concepts weren't that challenging, didn't really engage me that much. But during the second half, I started to see the genius in this story. The author perfectly describes first love and forbidden love, both of which teens yearn for and most adults have lived through and remember fondly. Unlike most books that your mind enjoys, this taps into something deeper. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

I saw my sister (Moody-Blue) this weekend, and she handed this book back to me ... so Bella and Edward are back on my shelf again :)
