Another book sent by estherase - thank you! Looking forward to reading this, as I recently finished another Nick Hornby novel, How to Be Good.
I really enjoyed this book, though as I had already seen the movie (several years ago) there were no surprizes. What I remember of the movie follows the book exactly. The protagonist's memories of early adolescent "relationships" (if you can call them that) reinforce my conviction that you couldn't pay me enough to go back to being that age again! I enjoyed this book more than How to be Good.

Finally found a spare minute to record that I picked this up at the Toronto meetup last week. I have heard great things about Nick Hornby, so Im looking forward to this read.
I just could not get into this book. I think I will release it at the 1st Burlington, Ontario Meetup on the 11th if it happens.
