This wasn't as good as the previous Helen MacInnes that I read recently. I found this one hard to get into, the characters kept blurring and I had a hard time working out who was doing what. For some reason I felt that the good guys should have been bad guys and I kept expecting a twist where they would revert to type. Such a disappointing ending; what a way to ruin the potential love match of the century. :(
