Just purchased - will return in a couple of days . . . Finished this on trip to visit brothers in Michigan. Plot was fine, but - alas! - writing was pretty limp. Dialogue quite artificial and waaaay too much of the old Deus Ex Machina in order to extricate our heroes from various dilemmas. Reminded me of the old Perils of Pauline installments when I was a kid at the movies. Oh, well -- I got the book on the remainders table (wonder why it was there???).
