Really sweet and funny!
Mia finds out that she is the princess of a small european country called Genovia and as if that wasn't enough her mum is dating her algebra teacher.

It's arrived! I've read the first couple of pages, and already I'm hooked :-)
I watched the film at the weekend, and now want to read the books. After all, films never do the books justice, especially diaries.
Thanks!

This is so much better than the film!
A lot of the storyline is different, but I found I enjoyed the book a lot more. (come on, can anyone tell me a film which has been better than the book?)
A kind of rags to riches story, with the main character protesting all the way. The author makes her characters very believable and likeable.
I can't wait to read the others in the series.
