This book was chosen because it is on the 2009 Reading Olympics list for Bucks County, and Morrisville's Gifted 6-12 students are required to read one Reading Olympics book per month this school year. Our goal is to get the books on the list, journal about them as we read them, have a release party at the end of the school year, and track the journey of our books next school year. This is the first book that we are registering, and we're excited!

I picked this book up to read over the summer. It was meant to be read for a faculty book club, but unfortunately that book club never got off the ground. I will be passing the book along to my Gifted students, and we will release it "into the wild" at the end of the school year.

I found the book to be an easy read. Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with it, but I can see how some of my students may be able to relate to it. I'll be interested to see what they think about the book.
