I first heard about this on NPR, where listeners can present audio essays about what they believe to be something pivotal or important to their lives or to the world at large. This book includes essays from the past few years, as well as from the original series from the 1950s. I found many of the essays to be inspiring, and they made me examine my life and what is truly important to me.
