Hi and Welcome to Bookcrossing!
If you found this book and are not familiar with BookCrossing, thanks for checking the site out. Welcome! Enjoy both the book and the site.
People all over the world are tracking their books through BookCrossing.
I really hope you'll journal this book! You can stay anonymous if you like. You can journal the book right now! You don’t have to read it first. Ideally, you will post a journal now saying that you’ve found this particular book, then read (and hopefully enjoy) the book. When you’re done reading, come back here and let us know when and where you will pass the book on to another reader. Give a review if you’d like. If you journal it, you can come back anytime to track its journey.
If you decide to join – and it’s FREE - please consider using me, Marsala, as the member who referred you. If you are already familiar with BookCrossing, thanks for picking up the book.
Either way, I hope you'll make a journal entry so all previous and future readers can track this book's journey. Happy reading and Happy BookCrossing!

The language used in the book was a bit difficult to understand at first. The writer uses a sort of slang. But after a while you learn more words and it gets easier. It is a rather impressive story and it made me feel very uneasy overall.

I really enjoyed this book!
The language used was a bit difficualt to understand at first, but it got easier to understand as it went on. Some bits made me feel uneasy reading, and my feelings towards the young boy, Alex, changed a lot throughout reading.
I'm hoping to start a bookring with this book, if there's enough interest in it.

tbr - arrived today, am very happy to have it, I have sought this book for years! I will read it quickly, I have one ahead of it which I part way through, and then on its way it will go!
Thnak you for including me in the ring.
Thnak you for including me in the ring.
Finished it and am pleased that I have read it. Was it an enjoyable book? No. Was it challenging? Yes. Am I pleased to have read it? Absolutely. I found it uncomfortable, also, at times, and like one of the other journallers I found my empathy changed towards the protaganist throughout the novel. I found the language a bit tricky - I felt like I was reading Jabberwocky at first! - but I got the hang of it. I even found myself thinking a few of the frequently used words even when I wasn't reading it. This disconcerting but rivetting book was interesting and I am pleased to be included in the ray. I will post it off on the weekend.
