Great debut novel by Englert, starring the Labrador Retriever Randolph, dog and sleuth about town, and inspired by the greatest sleuth of them all, Sherlock Holmes. Immensely enjoyable and readable!

What a great surprise!! I received this in yesterday's mail - I will have to make room for this at the top of my TBR pile. I am a dog person and my Chihuahua is a jealous one - I will have to hide this book.
Came in the mail today - thanks BnB - looks like a good read!
I can't believe I've had this book 4 years - yikes, sorry it's taken me so long to read it.
Ha, I've always known that dogs are smarter than you think! This dog detective definitely outshines his owner in solving mysteries. Very cute premise. I loved how he used Alpha-Bits to communicate his messages.
