Journal Entry 1 by Backroom-Girl from Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand on Monday, March 31, 2003
A rather ordinary book.
This book was given to me by Backroom-Girl, for our mass release of books in Christchurch on 17 April 2003, to celebrate BookCrossing's second birthday.
Couldn't resist reading it before it went in the release box ... a light, simple read, not a deeply engaging story, but interesting enough to keep me reading to the end. I recommend it if you're looking for something to fill in between books, or to while away the time on an aeroplane (as long as it's a short flight).

The cover of this book is predominantly blue, and I therefore thought it a very appropriate book to send as a RABCK to blue183 in Picton: happy reading, blue183!
Received today in the mail from Mothercat in Christchurch. It was unexpected but pleasant surprise. I will post again when I have read it.
I'm on a bit of a reading run lately :) finished this one last night, it was a good read, quite short, and with a somewhat twist at the end, it made for a good story.
Thanks again for sending this to me, Mothercat. Now who can I sent it on to to keep the RABCK going. Hmm... will have to think about that.
Update: 27th November 2003 Offered this on the bookrelay site last week and it was accepted by boreal. And to keep the giving going I sent another book, that boreal wanted. It should be there by tomorrow maybe. Hope you enjoy the book boreal.

Thanks for sending this -I will add it to my growing reading pile.
Took this with me when we visited our crib/bach for the weekend, and managed to read it in one sitting almost.
A bit sentimental for my taste and the ending was fairly far-fetched but otherwise a light and quick read.
I have to post something to Australia this week so might add this to the parcel as a surprise.
