Thank you so much for sending this book along brewski. I'm looking forward to reading this book. I was really enjoying it before I accidentally left the copy I was reading on a train. I promise to keep a good grip on this copy :)

I don't know how Coupland manages to place his finger firmly on the pulse of the zeitgeist over and over again. Of course, this book reads as a history now and the characters he's describing have passed into cliche but he certainly nailed a period and an industry.
Throughout the story he manages to mechanise humans and humanise both machines and humans cleverly interweaving the change in family identities and work patterns.
I really enjoyed this book and am very grateful to brewski for having sent it my way after I lost the copy I initially began reading.
