The Confessions of Max Tivoli

Diverting enough, but I found it hard to care about the characters. The major premise of the story - a man starting life old and getting ever younger - is just too disconnected from reality to fuel the reader's imagination. Greer did use this vehicle to offer some thought-provoking insights into the nature of love and how we feel and perceive love in the various phases of life, but he could have done that just as well in a more straightforward manner.
Apologies for the delay in journalling, but I've been offline.
This was handed/recommended to me at the last Cardiff Meet, so I'll be adding it to Mt Toobie.
