I actually wound up rather liking this book, even though I didn't think I was going to at first. I don't usually read this kind of hard-boiled courtroom drama but this was actually quite a good story with an interesting plot. Connelly has a few narrative tics that got a bit annoying sometimes (he explains things and repeats himself too much, for example) but overall quite a surprise - thanks very much for sharing this!
