I read this a long time ago, when my colleagues were Japanese. It was given to me at a timely moment and cheered me through a difficult situation. Many will say that this tale, presented if I remember rightly as semi-autobiographical, is hugely exagerated. However speaking from experience, I can say it is uncannily realistic at the same time... much of it could indeed be true - perish the thought!! A good read.
