It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

Thanks for my wonderful variety of books - you were wonderfully generous and I look forward to trying out some new authors.

I found this book compelling and difficult to read at the same time. I thought I recognised the title and then realised it has been released as a film in 2014 and I have heard reviews but not seen it. It is a clever concept - and a comment on how we farm and what we eat. Gross in places, but I had to finish it to find out what happens to the main character Isserley who changes as the book progresses in reaction to the people she meets- especially the hitch hikers she picks up and the son of the owner of the company she works for.

This was quite strange, but also quite gripping and thought-provoking. Not something I'm going to rush to read again, and not one to read while you're eating.
I have no idea how they managed to turn this into a film!
Passed on to my uncle.
