Today's best mystery writers take to the road with a brand-new collection of stories featuring the great American highway, Route 66. Take a ride on the wild side.... This book is a loving tribute to the Mother Road and the people who traveled it, searching for a better tomorrow, or escaping an intolerable present. Several of the travelers in this book are running away from their crimes, others from themselves. Some of the stories involve the people who live along the route, providing food and shelter for the travelers, and sometimes becoming, to their eternal regret, entangled in their secrets. Cops solve crimes, private detectives ask too many questions of the wrong people, children learn lessons they'll never forget, and people make decisions that will haunt their lives forever....

This is really neat to me. I have never heard of such a thing. I plan to read it and get to know more about this club.
