A lot of my friends loved this book, but I don't care much for books about Americans traveling around the world. I had a hard time with Elizabeth's character--a woman who is rich, well-educated, young, and pretty is pretty self-involved to have to take a year off and travel the world to get over her depression. The rest of us should have that luxury--we have to "Grin and Bear It" of "Make Lemonade."
