It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

A Thursday Next Novel

It's hard to classify this book. Science fiction it certainly is since time travel is at the heart of the action. But it's also comedy, and history, and mystery, and more.

From the back cover:
Welcome to a surreal version of Great Britain, circa 1985, where time travel is routine, cloning is a reality (dodos are the resurrected pet of choice), and literature is taken very, very seriously. England is a virtual police state where an aunt can get lost (literally) in a Wordsworth poem, militant Baconians heckle performances of Hamlet, and forging Byronic verse is a punishable offense. All this is business as usual for Thursday Next, renowned Special Operative in literary detection, until someone begins kidnapping characters from works of literature. When Jaye Eyre is plucked from the pages of Brontë's novel, Thursday must track down the villain and enter the novel herself to avert a heinous act of literary homicide.

I offered this in the Everybook VBB at BookObsessed and no one took it. But, someone just took The Fourth Bear from the Mystery VBB, so I'm offering it there. I sure hope someone wants it.

Since this book wasn't taken from the Mystery VBB, I've given it to LuAnne, my next-door neighbor.
