This book is written by Patty Duke of classic TV fame and Gloria Hochman. Patty found out as an adult she has bipolar depression. This book is part memoir and part guide book to a disease with chapters alternating between these topics.

I'd have found the memoir part more interesting if I'd watched her show and the guide book covers little I didn't already know. Good if you haven't looked into the condition before.
