She's a tourist in the life of the working poor, and though I admired the purpose of the book it wasn't at all enlightening or effective. She chose the moments when she would abide by the limitations that the working poor are faced with every day, such as calling a dermatologist friend when she had a rash as opposed to facing the emergency room services. Her hypocrisy seemed to know no bounds.
