A Spot of Bother
3 journalers for this copy...
A birthday gift from my youngest daughter.
A very British family farce which rattles along to a satisfactory conclusion. It would make a great film given the right casting. Written in short sharp chapters I found it easy to put down but it was also easy to pick up again.
Sent to madjock in Glasgow as part of a trade.
Thanks for the swap Ardachy, I'm looking forward to reading this.
easy to read short chapters, quite comical in places!! passed back to my sister
I really enjoyed this, Mark Haddon's style is quite unique and easy to read, although I don't think it was as good as the reviews and although it was some time ago, I didn't feel it was as good as 'A Curious Incident', (which I thought was excellent).
But overall, a good story, that I read quite quickly. I really liked (nearly all of) the characters and was keen to know how their chaotic, farcical lives would turn out. I thought the ending however was a bit abrupt.
