Picked up at Oxfam intending to read but really wasn't enjoying it so gave up - there is, after all, so much more to read out there. Hope you enjoy more than I did...

RELEASE NOTES:

I mean to read this as I heard rave reviews from friends in Australia. I'm a bit put off by the style, which I wasn't expecting. The narrator is a writer in the Australian bush of the 1870's with little formal education, which is shown by using very little punctuation and some odd phrasing.

I picked this up and gave it to my Dad to read, as he liked his history (I didn't realise at the time that it was a novel). I found it still on his bookshelf after he died, and am reading it myself now. As others have said, the style is unusual, but as Ned might say:

- I took to the adjectival book and it were a mighty read as I live or die so I reckon any b----r might do the same if he were to persevere on the matter. -

I'm enjoying it, and will release back to wild when I'm done.
